Well the International Student forum just finished.
It seemed problematic with Neena having resigned.
My representative who is postgrad brought up issues of less work and CAPA merging with NUS. (ahem????0
So I'll see what happens at the next forum.
Last night was lovely. I wish more people had turned up from yesterday to today.
I guess I'll see them tomorrow.

Is anyone else going to the CAPA conference this week? It starts on Friday and finishes on Sunday. If you are interested, your uni sa or union office should pay for it and your accomodation.

04:45 pm - Women's Day
Hey is anyone doing anything for International Women's Day, next Wednesday the 8th of March. I was invited to something in Victoria and Queensland but I have classes, so that's a bit far for me.
So far I've found this in Sydney:
Women for Peace Event
Wednesday 8th of March, 12 am - 5pm
"You are asked to support a peaceful gathering of women in the vicinity of the office of the United States Consul General, outside the MLC Building, Martin Place, Sydney.
For further information: http://twenty-o-three.info?
Is there anyone from this community going to this event or have you heard of anything else happening?

Tomorrow is mardi-grass day, it should be pretty cool. I haven't decided on whether to go or not. There'll be a ani vsu float from supra and a uts float.
Finally got some time to myself tonight, went out and saw some sydney.
Yesterday was the supra bbq. It was raining just as I left. The women's officer for supra didn't come.

01:25 pm - My Day
So I finally told my friend from my livejournal mobiletash about this livejournal that I just made for the volunteer project that I am working on capawomen, I'm not sure about all the layout yet but I'm trying to give it a go.
Yesterday I went to the Operahouse for the Mardi-grass and saw an American drag show (I think). It was really fabulous and the actors were Herb and Kiki. :D I loved Kiki and Herb was the best pianist!!
I invited myself along to the premier today of the www.eyesonthehills.com which is at Fox studios this afternoon. I don't normally watch much horror, but I thought, just this once should be ok. :)

what to bring?
Bring something to eat, something to drink and someone who would like
